Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how the Interval Timer mobile application (“the app”) handles information. The app is published by TapWorks (“we”, “us”).

The short version

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information ourselves. The app has no accounts, no login, and no analytics. Your timers and settings stay on your device. The only data leaving your device is what Google’s advertising and payment services collect, described below.

Information stored on your device

The app saves the following locally, using your device’s own storage. It is never uploaded to us and is deleted when you uninstall the app:

• Timers you create (names, interval durations, rounds)
• Your Quickstart values
• Preferences: theme, cue sound, volume, keep-screen-on
• Whether you have purchased ad removal

Advertising

The free version of the app displays ads supplied by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process:

• Your device’s advertising ID
• Approximate (non-precise) location derived from your IP address
• Device information such as model, operating system version, and language
• Ad interaction data, such as whether an ad was shown or clicked

This processing is carried out by Google, not by us — we never receive this data, and we cannot identify individual users from it. Google’s handling of it is governed by the Google Privacy & Terms. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device settings under Settings → Privacy → Ads.

Purchasing ad removal stops all ad requests. Once bought, the app makes no further calls to Google’s advertising services.

Purchases

Ad removal is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your name, address, card details, or any other payment information. The app only records, on your own device, whether the purchase was made. Google’s handling of payment data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

Data we share

We do not sell, rent, or share any user data, because we do not collect any. The only third parties involved are Google AdMob (advertising) and Google Play Billing (payments), as described above.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Data retention and deletion

All app data lives on your device. To delete it, clear the app’s storage in your device settings, or uninstall the app. Because we hold no data on our own servers, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf. A record of your purchase is retained by Google, not by us.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date above.
